Book 1 in the series of three. This is the story of how Sandy joined the Royal Australian Navy as an apprentice fitter and turner at age 16 directly from school.

Book 2 The second book in a series of three takes the young Sandy as a Tiffy to sea as a fully indentured fitter and turner, a naval Artificer.

Book 3 The third book in a series of three tells the story of when Sandy volunteered for submarines, his training in the UK with the Royal Navy and life thereafter in Australian Submarines.
